Blood Friends was inaugurated by Honorable Former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Harish Rawat Ji in October 2016.
Blood has no alternatives, hence blood can’t be manufactured and only volunteers can help by donating blood. According to “The Times of India and health ministry data” following are the factors:-

WHO estimates that blood donation by 1% of a country’s population is generally sufficient to meet its basic requirements of safe blood.
Globally 287000 women die each year during pregnancy 99% of are in developing countries, many can be saved if safe blood is available to them.
According to research conducted by “THE HINDU” India faced a 10 per cent shortage in its estimated blood requirement in 2015-16, an improvement from the 17 per cent shortfall reported in 2013-14, government data says. The estimated requirement is around 1.2 crore units per annum. To overcome this shortage of blood we are taking an initiative by providing live donors to them those who are in need of blood.

Blood friends is an organization working for a noble cause- like providing blood donors to the needy person ,the one who seeks for blood very urgently with our establish network we try to provide them the blood live donors.
To make our network strong, Blood Friends has designed a centralized mobile application where Needy can look for blood banks, hospitals and donors in their nearby area who will be available in quick time. Blood Friends app will provide the facility to contact Donors, and generating blood request through communication network by the registered users, which is completely free of cost.
Blood Friends started operating on what’s app forming what’s app group called BLOOD FRIENDS. Since there are lot of limitation in what’s app which sometimes results in creating communication gaps. We have decided to come up with a specific platform which only helps in relation to blood donation and receiving the blood. This platform is called BLOOD FRIENDS Application available on Google play store and soon will be accessible on IOS too.
Blood Friends application has one of the features called medical history. This feature has been added considering the digital era, one can save his/her medical reports in this by clicking picture. This can be accessed anytime anywhere around the global within the BLOOD FRIENDS applications. This is not just to help one to have access to his/her reports, one can save time and money as well through this feature.
Although, Blood Friends have been sending Appreciation Certificate to donors, however Blood Friends provide 100 pearl points on each donation and which increases by 25 on each donation. These pearl points will be redeemable as cash in near future.
