BLOOD FRIENDS is a Non-Government Project that acts as a channel connecting the voluntary blood donors with those in need. It provides free counselling and provides all-round solution to the problem of blood requirement and shortage. This project runs under the Pearl Charitable Society, which was inaugurated by Honorable former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Shri Harish Rawat Ji.
The vision of BLOOD FRIENDS is to become “a leading humanitarian organization serving vulnerable people”.
The mission of the "BLOOD FRIENDS" is to inspire, encourage and initiate at all times all forms of humanitarian activities so that human suffering can be minimized, alleviated and even prevented and thus contributing to create a more congenial climate for peace.
Since its inception, BLOOD FRIENDS has focused on encouraging eligible blood donors to come forward as donating blood as it could save a life. Become a live blood donor and be the reason of saving lives in million way. Now, it has established a good networking across the country.

When Blood friends get urgent requirement of blood through the application or by message, we contact with the Attendant and call nearby donors for the donation if someone get ready for the donation we provide the details of the donor to the attendant. After the donation, Blood Friends thanks and appreciates the donor for the Precious gift of life for someone in Need.
BLOOD FRIENDS App facilitates its users with every feature they need to know for donating and receiving the blood. One of the most unique features is Medical History. This feature allows people to save their medical reports in the form of images, which is accessible anytime, anywhere around the globe, within the BLOOD FRIENDS applications. This is not just to help one to have access to his/her reports, this saves the person from a lot of confusions and other lengthy processes.

The volunteers of BLOOD FRIENDS made many things clear to me. I was explained how a little gesture of donating blood could make a big difference in someone’s life, who undergo some complicated surgery or met an accident. They made me the value of feel proud of it.
Tb. The name of needles were enough to send chills down my spine. But the volunteer of BLOOD FRIENDS helped me to overcome this fear. They encouraged me and made me confident enough to donate the blood.
